"Gerbil, Gerbil On the Run" was my favorite poem. Gerbils are one of my favorite animals so it caught my eye. Another reason I liked it was because I love gerbils. Ryhming poems in my opinion are they best. Gerbil, Gerbil On the Run is the best poem.

"My Shadow" is talking about your shadow. It says that it can grow giant and it can become so small you can barely see it, this means when he moves, the shadow becomes different. It becomes bigger and smaller depending on the sun. Wherever he goes when the sun is shining that is where his shadow goes. If the sun is not shining his shadow does not come out. "My Shadow" is trying to teach you about your shadow.
